AI Accusation Casebook
The AI Accusation Casebook is TimeBinder®’s collection of public, sourced write-ups of cases where a creator’s work was questioned as possibly made with AI. Each entry sets out what was alleged, what each side said, what evidence was looked at, and how the matter ended, using only published sources.
How cases are chosen
We include a case only when it has been reported publicly by sources we can read and link to, such as official statements and established news outlets. Every claim in an entry is attributed to the person or organisation that made it, and quotes are given word for word with the source beside them. People who made accusations are described by their role. We do not add allegations we cannot source.
We do not reach verdicts of our own. We don’t say whether anyone used AI, and the Casebook is not a ruling on any person’s work.
What a timestamp can and cannot show
A TimeBind shows that a file existed no later than the recorded time. It does not show who made the file, whether its contents are true, whether AI was used, or how a prize, publisher, platform or court would treat it. Each entry says where a dated record of drafts might have added context, and where it would not have helped.
